The real magic of magic mushrooms

The real magic of magic mushrooms

Recently I watched a TED talk about treating depression with the active chemical in magic mushrooms, psilocybin. Rosalind Watts, a psychologist who is part of a research term at the Imperial College London, gave the talk.

Twenty people who had long-term, treatment-resistant depression were given a high dose of psilocybin in a therapeutic setting. Each individual listened to music while being with a therapist who was there mainly for safety. The sessions were not structured by the therapist and lasted for about six hours.

Of the twenty people, six were completely cured of their depression, three experienced no change and eleven had their depression lift for two months before it started returning.

Using brain-imagining techniques, the researchers identified those areas of the brain affected by the psilocybin. Their conclusions? That the drug increased flexibility and neural connectivity, effectively unlocking the brain.

The results were positive but the real mystery to the researchers was: What did these people actually experience? Each individual was interviewed six months later. This is what the researchers found:

  • Most surfaced unconscious memories and past traumas.
  • They received insight into their negative patterns of behaviour.
  • They were liberated emotionally. Most had been numb or shut down emotionally. During the session many cried and released emotions.
  • They now felt connected when before they were isolated. Some reported feeling closely connected to friends and family. Others felt connected to nature. Many experienced a spiritual awakening with a sense of harmony and unity.
  • Their experience was perfectly structured and unfolded in a way that was optimal for their personal transformation.

Several of them, the researchers claimed, experienced six years of therapy in six hours. Some of these described their experience as “my brain being defragged,” “the fog lifting” and “the lights being turned on in a dark house.”

After these results, the researchers wondered if psilocybin could cure depression. They decided that the chemical only created conditions for the individual to cure him or herself.

It seemed the psilocybin was the magic that created the conditions, which appeared to be a special state of mind. In any case, that is what the researchers concluded.

But that wasn’t true either. You don’t need a chemical to reach that state.

People who come for a past life regression or a life between lives regression, don’t need magic mushrooms or psilocybin to create a state of mind where they transform. They revisit lost memories, resolve past trauma, gain insights, experience a sense of harmony and unity that we call the Oneness without ingesting any pharmaceutical. And they experience it all unfolding perfectly for their optimal learning. This state can easily be achieved with an experienced practitioner of life between lives hypnosis.

The sessions I facilitate with my clients mirror what was described in the psilocybin research. As soon as the client reaches a special state of hypnosis, I hand over to their guides who take them on the journey that is perfect for them. This journey and their experiences are beautifully designed for them by their guides.

A psychologist recently sent me a client who was suicidal after being depressed for two years. He had been in and out of hospital and was not able to work. He did two sessions with me and, according to his psychologist, his depression was gone. This is what he wrote a few months after his session:

You have been such a big part in my recovery and I am looking forward to the next time to see you.  The Guides have been very active in my life and the more I accept them, the more I succeed. Thank you for opening this door…for me to breathe and dream of the doorway beyond and that it has come to complete fruition. You might remember that I was given the motivation and wisdom to “open a door and expect a doorway”!

Of course, it is not only depressed people who benefit from these experiences, others do too.

Many people are helped, including those who want to understand:

  • the challenges they are facing in their lives,
  • whether they are on track with their life purpose,
  • where their loved ones are and why they were taken,
  • how to lift the fog of confusion or the distress of anxiety, and
  • how to heal or manage their physical problems.

As the researchers discovered, the real magic of the process that so helped their depressed patients isn’t in the mushrooms and isn’t in the chemical. The real magic is everyone’s ability to access a special state of consciousness. This state of consciousness allows us to address our issues in the most powerful way possible, assisted by high-level spiritual guides who are focussed on our greatest good.

Special offer.

For a limited time, I recently decided to offer a special package to clients who would like to do a past life regression and a life between lives regression. I have noticed my clients go into their hypnotic state very easily and quickly since I moved up to Maleny. From here the energies are clear greatly conducive to going into trance. I am offering two regressions, each of a duration of at least three hours, and at a special price.  These regressions are taken on different days so you stay fresh and alert and can easily maintain your connection to your guides during your journeys. This offer also applies to Skype regressions.

The special offer includes 2 three-hour regressions for $500

taken on separate days, including notes of the sessions and audio recordings.

Psychedelic Drugs and Spiritual Hypnosis

Eagle soaring

Recently a client told me about her experience in South America at an Ayahuasca retreat.

Ayahuasca is a psychedelic drug that induces altered states of consciousness. The active ingredient in Ayahuasca is N,N-Dimethyltryptamine (DMT), a chemical that was artificially synthesised in 1959.

Ayahuasca has been used in special ceremonies by the South American Indians for thousands of years. Shamans conduct these ceremonies that are focussed on healing and personal transformation.

My client had a number of profound spiritual experiences while under the drug at the retreat. One positively changed her life-long troubled relationship with her mother. She reported that other people on the retreat also had transformative experiences.

The drug, Ayahausca, becomes active when two different plants are mixed together. Unfortunately there are toxic chemicals in these plants as well as the active ingredients. These toxic chemicals can make you extremely sick with nausea and vomiting. The Shamans reframe this toxic reaction as necessary purging and say it is part of getting rid of your toxins. Actually it is just getting rid of the toxins you ingested from the plants.

People who take Ayahuasca report leaving their bodies, going to heaven or the “other side,” becoming infinite and close to God. They describe it as being like a Near Death Experience (NDE). http://highexistence.com/ayahuasca-a-story-of-death-rebirth-and-love/

Others warn that taking these psychedelic drugs can be dangerous. You might experience a bad trip and pick up negative energies. https://www.shamanportal.org/article_details.php?id=961

Another way

There is another way to have the profound experiences described by people who take these psychedelic drugs. That is the reason my client was coming to me. She could see that a Life Between Lives Regression (LBL) could offer a similar experience, but without the debilitating purging.

As described by many people, experiences of a LBL, a NDE and psychedelic drugs are similar. There is death, leaving the body, going to the Afterlife and other Realms, meeting loved ones who have passed, meeting your soul group, gaining wisdom and love from the Council of Elders, God or other Enlightened Beings, going to where you planned your current life, sometimes going to other planets or galaxies.

Another client, Henry, came for a LBL, expressing his interest in one day taking psychedelic drugs to further open his mind. Before we started the LBL, we created an intention for a psychedelic experience during the LBL.

Although words are inadequate to describe what happened, what follows is what Henry reported to me during his experience. There were long pauses between his sentences when his visualisations were unfolding.

I feel so big I cover a galaxy. I am being shown that I am a part of all that is.

Now I have felt myself come back into a physical form and I can see my chakras with all their lines of energy around me, and coming into me.

I am floating and really small. Tiny. Tiny.

There is something massive spinning in front of me, like a Ferris wheel, only huge. I am watching it. It’s a great big energy vortex.

Now I am a spot of light, a speck of dust in the sunshine.

Back now, floating in space.

I am looking at the world from the view of an eagle. I am the eagle, sweeping over a mountain, watching some people walking along a path cut into the bush on the side of the mountain. I feel free.

I just landed on the limb of a dead tree.

Now I feel the dome of the world pushing down on me, like I am being screwed into a glass jar.

I asked Henry what this meant.

It’s the restriction of physical life, pushing down on me, rather than me being who I really am.

I ask Henry is it possible to be free and physical.

Yes. That is what we are working towards.

I am looking over the horizon while standing on a high plateau. I see the arc of the world, the curve of the horizon. I feel peaceful and contented as if everything is right, in place. And I have a sense of freedom.

Now I am walking through skyscrapers and crowds of people, like in New York or Tokyo. At the same time, I have that high panorama in front of me, like a hologram reflected on an oval-shaped, translucent egg that surrounds me. Even in this tight, crowded place, I have this wide perspective giving me that same sense of freedom and contentment.

Henry was thrilled by this “trip.”

While he was still in the trance, I gave him the opportunity to anchor this wide, freeing perspective into many areas of his daily life so he would continue to carry this new sense of personal power and freedom with him.

I want you to know that you don’t have to go to South America and take toxic plants to have a psychedelic experience that can positively change your life.

You can do it here, safely, with me, in beautiful Maleny in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland where the energies are clear and positively powerful.
