Episode 18: Quick Fix of Deep Trauma

Listen to podcast

A quick fix of deep trauma is compelling for anyone dealing with anxiety or confusion. In this episode, my guest, Jane, explains how she suffered a strange anxiety anytime she saw red brake lights come on in front of her. Even, on the day she came to see me, she noticed becoming increasingly disturbed whenever a car ahead put on its brakes. This was despite the fact that her capable husband was driving her to the appointment.

Jane started her spiritual journey after having her children. Naturally, after her traumatic, anxious childhood, she wanted to be a good mother. She did courses in early childhood studies, gestalt therapy, sand play and hylotropic breath work.

As well as being disturbed by taillights, Jane had a challenging childhood. Unwittingly, she blocked out a lot of her sister’s bullying behaviour. As a child, Jane felt responsible for keeping the family together and functioning. In dysfunctional families, someone like Jane can feel obliged to take a responsible role, often for their own safety.

Three years ago, her sister dies, and Jane notices her sister’s negative energy around her. Consequently, memories of the abuse begin to surface. Jane tries addressing her anxiety by using methods she had learnt earlier. However, this was not successful.

Quick fix of deep trauma

As Jane explains, “no matter how I tried to breathe through the anxiety, I just simply couldn’t shift it. Then, I thought I’d give past life regression a go and see if it made a difference.”

As we discover in the regression, past life trauma is the problem and it is just beneath the surface and ready to break through with the right approach. Because of its devastating nature, Jane needs to have trust in the skill and empathy of her therapist. Only then can she relive the trauma and come to terms with it. Even though she was unable to resolve it alone, she experiences a quick fix of deep trauma.

Every session I conduct is unique, but Jane’s is particularly surprising. I am glad she decided to share her experience in this podcast.

On the next podcast…

Samantha, who has a young family, wants to find her purpose. Samantha lost her mother when she was a young child and I wonder if her mother will come through in the regression, as dead relatives often do. Listen to find out as Samantha experiences a number of pleasant surprises as well as two past lives.
