My guest, Tarryn, a clinical psychologist came to see me searching for a new path after loss. I found Tarryn yearning for a deeper understanding of her path in life. She also wonders why her brother was murdered by people who he helped. Surprisingly, this unprovoked murder of her brother acts as a catalyst to her seeking a more satisfying future.
Although Tarryn comes for a past life regression, her experience is more like a life between lives regression. During a past life regression, we usually go to at least one past life and find out how it relates to our current life. In a life between lives regression, we go into higher realms and meet people or guides we know. As she proceeds, Tarryn meets a native Indian woman with a long plait sitting in a teepee. Almost immediately, Tarryn realises she is her guide. Gently, the guide moves forward to comfort Tarryn.
Fear of losing a loved one
Tarryn explains that her greatest fear is losing a child. Usually, during a regression, we would experience and resolve a past life where that happens. But that is not the case here. Instead, the wise Indian woman gives Tarryn information about life and loss and how to proceed in life. These words resonate deeply with Tarryn who shares what she receives in the podcast. In fact, she gives us a more information in the podcast than she spoke during her regression. Sometimes, in a regression, we are so deeply captured by the experience, our speech is inhibited.
A new path after loss
A new path is opening for Tarryn. She feels called to help women ease into new opportunities. After work and child-raising become less of a focus for women, Tarry hopes to help them though group therapy sessions where the focus is on identity and life transitions.
