Can I be hypnotised is a concern of Pavla’s when she books a past life regression with me. When I receive her intake form, I note Pavla feels she doesn’t belong here on Earth. Then, she adds that life feels heavy for her but also beautiful. Also, I have noticed that my clients often feel the same. Some feel they don’t belong. Others feel unsettled. Another group take distracting actions that do not serve them. 

Before we start, Pavla explains that she recently separated from her husband and is bringing up her three children. Impressively, she is also studying full time to become a social worker. In fact, she is on track with her life but wonders if she has any blocks. 

Can I be hypnotised?

Unfortunately, Pavla has doubts, wondering if she be hypnotised. The problem is related to an experience from the past. After consulting a hypnotherapist, hoping to explore a past life, nothing happens. Inappropriately, the therapist blames Pavla. Sadly, Pavla losses confidence in her ability to access a past life.  

Importantly, to easily go into a trance and access a past life, we need to have confidence in our ability to relax and do so. At the time, I can see this may be challenging for Pavla. 

Naturally, I want to give Pavla the best opportunity to resolve any blocks. Consequently, I begin by discussing her fears and concerns and giving her more information about hypnosis. 

Obviously, I have many various methods to help clients reach trance and I use one that usually works. Unfortunately, at the beginning, Pavla sees only darkness, but I utilise all she sees and experiences to help her progress. Eventually, she senses a desert island in the middle of the ocean.

Now, Pavla is in the trance. As a man isolated on this desert island, she begins exploring. In the past life, the man feels confused and lost. Although, surprisingly, he is not afraid. Soon, we find out how he came to be on the island and why he is feeling lost and confused. Pavla discovers she is an unusual soul, sent here on Earth for a specific reason.
