To be at peace in our world we need to know how to deal with change. In the last nine months, some of the things we took for granted are radically changing.
- Old alliances between nations are breaking and new ones forming.
- Generally, there is a strong pushback against illegal immigrants, and even legal immigrants in some countries.
- Our world trading system has been disrupted with some countries in jeopardy from huge tariffs.
- Wars that we hoped would be resolved are continuing to be led with vigorous determination and inhuman practices.
- Natural disasters are more common and exhibit increased ferocity.
- The democratic principle of separation of powers is being constantly challenged in the USA, our most powerful democracy.
What can we rely on when the world is in turmoil?
I assume my readers hold to a spiritual perspective on life. You are aware that you have a soul, which is eternal, and cannot be ultimately harmed. Your soul journey is about growth and developing wisdom. When we face uncertainty, we need to keep our faith and focus positive. Here are some principles which may help:
How to deal with change
- Humans have free will. Having free will means we can receive or ignore any specific information. We can look at situations with a positive focus or a negative view. Our free will is absolute.
- We create our reality. Our thoughts and actions create a vibration that we send out and what we send out comes back to us. Negative views come back too. If I suggest to you now, ‘don’t think of blue. You cannot help but think of blue. Do this often enough and the universe sends you blue. So, what happens if half of voters think, ‘I don’t want Trump’ along with another half thinking ‘I do want Trump’? Thus, with such attention, it is not surprising that Trump won the 2024 election.
- Our lives are planned. Once on Earth, you have a choice. You can follow the plan, or you can ignore it. Many people undertaking a Life Between Lives Regression want to know if they are on track with their plan. On the one hand, if you are in alignment with your plan, you will mostly feel comfortable, joyful and inspired. On the other hand, if you are not, you will often feel unhappy, irritable, anxious, depressed or ill. However, fulfilling the plan in one lifetime is not necessary, because you cannot lose. Whether your plan is fulfilled or not, you learn. Whether it takes one lifetime or many, you will eventually gain the experience and knowledge you need.
- Planet Earth is also subject to a plan. The plan will be fulfilled even if a few detours are taken off the main course. In any case, no detour is wrong. A detour is experience and experience is expansion. In our expanding universe there is no such thing as waste. All experience is valuable.
Conclusion
Knowing how to deal with change will make your life more comfortable. Thus, the secret to achieving comfort is keeping a positive outlook. Of course, you may see people in parts of the world suffering. Now you ask, “does that personally affect me?” If not, you can decide to accept that those people are on their path. Unfortunately, our path includes suffering. It is a very necessary teacher, helping us learn and discern what we want to create and what we do not. Many of us who dislike seeing suffering have already suffered. Often in past lives. And that is why we react to it. However, we now need to allow others their opportunities to learn.
You also might have noticed that in places where there is turmoil, some people always get through. If you are in a difficult situation, decide that is you. Perhaps for a while, you are shocked, sad and feel hopeless. Just make sure you do not stay trapped in that negativity. Like others who have inspired you, decide you will get through it, and take it one step at a time.
Change is inevitable. It is part of our path here on planet Earth. I suggest you accept that fact, trust in a higher power, and ask for help. Then stay positive and believe in your ability to get through.
