How to break self-sabotaging patterns is the focus of my guest, Joy, in this podcast. Joy is a teacher and social worker. At the time, she is feeling exhausted from ongoing work problems. In fact, the young people she is trying to help are abusive and dismissive. Over time, she realises she was in a self-sabotaging pattern and is considering leaving and find another job. However, she fears finding herself in a similar traumatic situation. Unfortunately, in the past, she found leaving a job has not worked out.
I wonder if a traumatic past life is the source of her unhealthy pattern of working with mean people. But that isn’t what we discover at all. The past-life she relives is totally unexpected as is her realisations that shift negativity from her life.
How to break self-sabotaging patterns.
Happily, Joy experiences a long satisfying life as a young woman growing old. Joy shares several meaningful milestones she relives during this life. The final scene is powerful and strongly impacts her soul. Her guide appears after she passes. Unexpectedly, it is someone from her current life. Just the same, it is a very loving reunion.
Now, her guide gives her information and direction. For example, she discovers her focus at work is not appropriate and needs to change. The people she is supporting are not responding. In future, she needs to shift her attention to others. Joy finds this instruction quite surprising. However, her desire is always to help and support others.
After listening carefully to her guides, Joy observes how the changes are affecting her. Since she did the regression, she reports many changes. For instance, she feels lighter and happier.
Certainly, “Joy” is and appropriate name. In the past, she changes her name from Joyce to Joy. Happily, full and excitement and energy, she shares the uplifting experience of her regression and the continuing effect on her.
